For scheduled appointments, automated text message appointment confirmations can be sent to the customer. When this feature has been enabled, Customers will get two text confirmations. One text reminder is sent just after the appointment is set and a second reminder is sent approximately 1 hour prior to their appointment date and time.

How to enable the Appointment Text Confirmation Reminders
To enable Customer Text Message Appointment Reminders, you must first turn on this feature for each dealership (only managers have this access).
From the Menu Navigation Bar, select Admin, then Dealerships.
Click on the Action button to open the Edit option for the dealership you want to update with text messaging.
In the dealership profile, click on Appointment Confirmation Texts to open the selections. Confirmations can be selected for either Sales, Service or Both. Click on the toggle to activate. Sample messages for both Sales and Service will be displayed once this feature has been enabled. Then select Save to save settings.
Important Note:
SMS Messaging cannot be customized due to FCC regulations.
How to Send Customers Appointment Text Confirmation Reminders
Each time an agent schedules an appointment, they will have the option to send the customer an appointment reminder via text message.
Note: Prior to enabling this feature, obtain permission from the customer to send appointment reminders via text message.
From the Menu Navigation Bar, select Agent Console.
From the Agent Console, log the activity to create the customer's appointment.
- Select Book Appointment
- Enter the customer's First/Last Name
- Select Appointment Date/Time
- Enter the Customer's phone number
- Ask Customer for permission to sent appointment reminder via text message
After entering the cell phone number for the customer's appointment and obtaining permission from the customer, select the box "Customer text message consent received". Checking this box confirms the agent received permission from the customer.
Select SAVE to complete the activity.

Customers can confirm their appointments directly from the appointment text message reminder by "Pressing 1".
