Missed Opportunity Alerts allow management to take action on missed opportunities. The actions can be to book an appointment or to close (dismiss) the alert. These actions can be done directly from SMS text alerts or from the Missed Opportunity Report within BDC Central.
Important: Once management has taken action on a specific alert, no further action can be taken from the SMS text alert or the Missed Opportunity Report.
When appointments are booked from Missed Opportunity Alerts, management can continue to manage the outcome of those booked appointments using the Opportunity Management Log.
To locate appointments created from Missed Opportunity Alerts, open the Opportunity Management Log. From the Menu Navigation Bar, select Logs, then select Opportunity Management.
From the Opportunity Management log, management can update and manage the status of appointments created from Missed Opportunity Alerts.
