Appointment Text Confirmations are sent out in two phases: when the appointment is booked and approximately 1 hour prior to the scheduled appointment time.
If you need to reschedule a customer's appointment, the customer can still receive an appointment text confirmation reminder for the rescheduled appointment. However; if you reschedule a customer's appointment the text confirmation process changes slightly.
For Rescheduled Appointments, note the following:
- The rescheduling activity must use the rescheduling feature to change the appointment. See how to reschedule an appointment here.
- The rescheduling activity must occur at least 1 hour prior to the original appointment time.
- Only the 2nd text confirmation reminder will be sent to the customer.
