This article reviews the steps to follow when managing a Requested TO Alert from the bell icon in BDC Central.
When a Requested TO is logged in BDC Central, Transfer Opportunity (TO) Alerts are generated to notify the manager. Within BDC Central, the Request TO alert will be displayed in the upper right corner of the webpage as bell icon. The number of pending alerts needing attention are indicated with a number next to the bell icon.
Clicking on the bell icon opens a drop-down selection box to access the alerts. The time the alert was generated is displayed.
Clicking on the alert in the drop-down selection box will open a modal to directly manage the Requested TO.
The status of the TO Alert can be changed as follows:
- Pending - the Requested TO has not yet been resolved and is still pending further action.
- Completed - No Appt - The Customer was contacted and no appointment was scheduled.
- Booked Appt - The Customer was contacted and an appointment was scheduled.
- Ignored - The requested TO was ignored.
Note: Select Cancel to exit the TO Manager without changing the action of the TO Alert.
Appointments booked directly from the Requested TO Alert can be viewed and managed from the Opportunity Management log.
